A good mattress is an indispensable piece of furniture that allows people to get a good night's sleep. The right mattress can make your sleeping experience much better and more comfortable. When shopping for mattresses, many people find that queen mattresses fit their needs. Queen mattresses are big enough to stretch out in without taking up too much room in your bedroom. Here are four reasons to invest in a queen mattress:

1. You have recently had a bug bed infestation.

Bed bugs can make bedtime a nightmare. These small bugs can find their way into your home in numerous ways, but they often like to lurk inside used mattresses. Bed bugs can bite you while you sleep, causing itchiness and discomfort. They can be very hard to get rid of, so if you have a bed bug infestation, it may be wise to get rid of your old mattress. A new queen mattress will give you a new, clean, bug-free start.

2. You want to upgrade your comfort level.

You deserve to be comfortable while you sleep, but a mattress that is too small can make that difficult. Single and full beds are often too small for people who are tall and those who like to stretch out in bed. Couples may also find these types of beds too restrictive. A queen mattress will give you more room to lie down so you can sleep and nap comfortably.

3. You have had your mattress for seven years or more.

If you've had your mattress for longer than seven years, it's time to consider getting a new one. Some mattresses can last for as long as ten years, but their quality tends to degrade over time. An old mattress may have lost most of its softness and bounciness as springs wear out and mattress filling is compressed. A new queen mattress can give you the comfortable night's sleep that you've been missing.

4. You wake up feeling stiff and sore.

Sleep should be restful. When you wake up in the morning, you should feel limber and rejuvenated. Unfortunately, the wrong mattress can leave you feeling worse than you did before. Poorly made mattresses can put pressure on specific parts of your body, which can lead to pain in the morning. If you regularly feel stiff and sore in the morning, you may want to switch out your current mattress for a new queen mattress.
